Today, Bengaluru weather has disturbed daily life activities of the residents due to heavy rain since last night which has resulted in waterlogging everywhere in the city. According to the latest weather report from the Indian Meteorological Department IMD, the rainfall was recorded as 16.2 mm as of 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The city is seeing a minimum temperature of 20.7 degree Celsius and maximum temperature of 25.4 degree Celsius as of today. It has been reported that the rainfall may continue until around 4 o’clock in the afternoon in both rural and urban Bangalore.

Due to excess waterlogging, Bengaluru traffic has gotten worse as several vehicles are not able to move for hours. As the low-lying areas of Bengaluru are filled with water, people are parking their vehicles on flyovers which has further contributed to traffic problems. The Hebbal flyover was one of the affected areas of long line traffic. Locals complained of a delay of 30 to 40 minutes on the flyover and several videos and photos of it can be seen surfacing the internet. Other parts of Bengaluru like Sarjapur Road, Mahadevapura, Mysore Road flyover, Marathahalli, Sheshadripuram, Sanjay Nagar, Hunasemaranahalli, Outer Ring Road (ORR) Bannerghatta Road etc are affected due to heavy rainfall.
