Prime Minister Narendra Modi is right now celebrating Diwali with the Border Security Forces (BSF) along the Pakistan border. He was seen exchanging Diwali greetings and celebrating Diwali with military personnel at different locations across the nation. During the speech that he gave he highlighted that his government will never compromise even an inch of the country’s land. He said that, to ensure that the government has equipped the army with the latest technologies. While addressing the forces, he said that he added that the government is putting efforts to make the Indian Army among the world’s most modern military forces, and emphasized that the foundation of these efforts is self-reliance in the defence sector.
It can be seen in the videos shared on the internet, that PM Modi is distributing sweets among the military personnel, feeding each one of them with his own hand. He expressed that Diwali becomes even more special when he celebrates the festival with them. Further in the speech he mentioned that
“Today, when we are moving so fast towards the goal of developed India, you all are protectors of this dream.”
“When the world looks at you, it sees India’s strength. When our adversaries look at you, they see the end of their malicious plans. Bharat will not compromise on even an inch of its borders, which is why our policies are aligned with the resolve of our armed forces,”
“While we see one army, one air force and one navy individually, we see 111, but when they unite they become as one hundred and eleven.”
Voiced against attempt to annex Sir Creek
Talking about the government’s priorities, when he mentioned that the present government won’t compromise on even one inch of the land he also highlighted the malpractices by the previous government. He said
“There was a time when, in the name of diplomacy, work was underway on a policy to deceitfully seize Sir Creek. Even during that time in the form of the Chief Minister of Gujarat, I raised the voice of the nation. And now when we have got the opportunity as the running government, our policies are shaped according to the resolve of our armed forces. We believe in the determination of our forces and not on the words of our enemies.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has, from the beginning of his term as the Prime Minister of India, celebrated diwali with the border forces, during which he appreciates them for their service to the nation.
