The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 successfully on dates that range from January 22 to 30. The next step in the examination process is the release of the provisional answer key that will be available shortly on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be allowed to view the answer key and raise objections within the given time frame.
Provisional Answer Key and Objection Window
NTA will upload the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2025 on the official website with public notice. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the discrepancies found in the answer key and apply online.
- The objection window will be opened for two to three days.
- A challenge fee of ₹200 per question will be collected as a non-refundable amount.
- Only online and paid challenges submitted within the stipulated time period will be accepted.
- Challenges without proper justification or evidence will not be accepted.
After the completion of the objection period, the objections will be dealt with by the subject experts. Then the answer key will be prepared by including all corrections. And then results will be announced based on it.
Display of Recorded Responses and Question Papers

According to the official exam information bulletin, the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 result is going to be released by February 12, 2025. The result is going to be released based on the final answer key, and no further objections are going to be entertained after the final key is published.

- Log on to jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link of the provisional answer key from the home page.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Exam Details
The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exams were held on various dates:
- Paper 1 (BE/BTech): January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 in two shifts – 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm.
- Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning): Held on January 30 in the second shift from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
