2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X has been rumoured to launch after a few months even though it is completely ready for the launch right now, but Bajaj-Triumph wants to keep it for later while prioritising its latest launch Speed T4 as well as Speed 400. Looking at it, it can be said that the Scrambler 400X will have to wait until the Speed T4 has made a place in the market.
As per reports, the new 400X will not have any mechanical or feature updates. However, there’ll be some major updates in the design according to the manufacturer. One of the important updates in the visuals of the motorcycle is the new paint scheme that will align with the latest speed 400. The matt khaki green colour will remain one of the major colour options for this model.
The model will be powered by 399cc, single-cylinder liquid-cool engine that will produce 39.5 bhp at 8000 rpm and will give out 37.5 nm torque at 6,500 rpm while continuing the six speed gearbox. Like we mentioned before, there won’t be major changes in chassis, suspension, or braking system and mechanically, the bike will continue what the current model has. Visor or off-road mudguard will not be offered in this model but it may be offered in the upcoming models.
It is expected that there will be a potential hike in the price of the 2025 Scrambler 400X as compared to the already available version in the market. However, rumours suggest that the price may be kept unchanged because Bajaj has done this with the updated versions in the past. Moreover, Bajaj-Triumph may launch a lower-spec version of the Scrambler 400X which will be called the Scrambler T4. This will aim to cater to a wider customer base just like how the Speed T4, of the Speed 400 lineup, does. Although, there’s no official announcement about it, it’s highly likely that the lower-spec version will be offered looking at the demand of such version in the Indian market, just like the KTM 250 adventure.
The introduction of this version will help Bajaj to compete with models like KTM 250 Adventure and will also support its strategy of covering different price points and customer segments with the help of multiple variants of the same platform. It is being said that the lower-spec version will come with traditional telescopic forks in place of the higher-end suspension that exists in the regular Scrambler 400X.
