Nissan Magnite Facelift is making a buzz in the market even before its launch on October 4, 2024. Just before the launch, Nissan released the first teaser of the upcoming car. Let us tell you that the facelift is the first major update of Nissan Magnite since its 2020 launch. Not just that , it is expected that the compact SUV will have some cosmetic changes in the design. With the launch of this model, Nissan will be manufacturing Left Hand Drive (LHD) models along with the (Right Hand Drive) RHD models.

Since the car is already packed with amazing features there might not be many changes with the upcoming one as well. However, we expect a change in the design of the bumper and grille. Furthermore, the car may feature a reprofiled design which will feature LED daytime running lamp signatures. In the teaser, we can see that the alloy wheel design has been upgraded to diamond cut shape to give it a more modern feel. Moreover, there may be only a few changes made in the interiors like the addition of some new trim pieces. Other than that, there might be a few features in the dashboard layout.

As per report, the powertrain options may not change and the previous shall continue. It reminds us that the previous lower variants have a 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is capable of producing 72HP and 96 Nm of torque. There will be two transmission options, first is the five speed manual transmission MT and second is the 5 speed automated manual transmission AMT. Talking about the higher variant they will have a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine which will produce 800 HP and 160 Nm of torque. This will be backed with either the 6 speed manual transmission MT or continuously variable transmission CVT.

The upcoming Magnite Facelift is part of the Nissan India’s revitalisation plan, whose mission is to launch 5 new models focusing solely on the Indian market in the upcoming years. Previously, we have seen that Nissan X-trial was launched on August 1, 2024 which marked the beginning of the execution of the plan. It will be followed by the upcoming updated Magnite.
