Jaguar Land Rover India has finally launched an exclusive premium range luxury SUV which is the Range Rover SV Ranthambore edition, in India. Only 12 units of this edition are available in the country since it is a limited edition model. The Ranthambore edition has been priced at Rs 4.98 crore (ex-showroom). Talking about the unique name, it comes from the Ranthambore National park that is located in Rajasthan. And this model is to celebrate the Bengal tiger and its natural habitat. Range Rover has informed that it will donate a portion of the profits from each Ranthambore edition sale to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.
The Ranthambore edition has a very strong road presence and is packed with some premium features. The luxury SUV has a deep black exterior along with a red shimmering effect on the front as well as on the back. Inspired by real tiger stripes, a unique motif has been carefully embroidered on the spine of the seats inside of the car. Moreover, the use of both Corinthian bronze, which is a luxurious metallic bronze colour and Anthracite, which is the darkest shade of grey gives an elegant and rich touch to the modern car that has been launched in India.
Powered by a 3.0 litre, six-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that produces 394 BHP and 550Nm of torque, the car runs smoothly yet gives a very powerful driving experience. Running on the huge 23 inch forged style dark grey wheels, it has caraway and light perlino Semi-Aniline leather seats that feature a contrast stitching pattern. Apart from these, the car is equipped with custom scatter cushion and noble Chrome jewellery finishes which gives a very sophisticated cabin vibe. The use of ceramic dials add refinement in the dashboard and create a very contemporary interior look.
Range Rover SV Ranthambore features
To provide a more comfortable journey, the Ranthambore edition has reclining rear seats for passengers. For better convenience, the car features a powered club table, refrigerator with SV-etehed glassware as well as deployable Cup holders. The car features a 13.1 inch floating touchscreen infotainment system along with a 13.7 inch digital instrument cluster. Meanwhile, the rear passengers will be able to enjoy personal entertainment with the 11.4 inch touchscreen available in front of them.
The SUV even features a 35-speakers, 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System that has active noise cancellation. Furthermore, for a seamless technology integration, the car comes with wireless car connect technology.
