Shahrukh Khan starrer “Jawan” which is an action thriller will be launched in Japan on November 29 after its massive success in India as well as worldwide. The film was released worldwide in September 2023 and had a production budget of 370 crore. The film earned a total of Rs 1,148 crores and is now all set to create dhamaka in the foreign nation. It has been announced that those who buy the tickets will get a poster of Shah Rukh Khan from the song “Chaleya”. For those who don’t know Shah Rukh Khan has recently won the best actor for ‘Jawan’ at the IIFA award.
Jawan, the film co-written and directed by Atlee will be distributed in Japan by ‘Twin” who is a frequent distributor of Indian films. As per reports, the advance booking for the film’s tickets began 5 months ago in Japan on July 5. King Khan himself posted about the Japan release on his Instagram. He wrote “Get ready for an intense, fiery and action packed adventure as #Jawan makes its way to Japan on November 29!”. He shared a video in his post and fans are super excited for the release in Japan. Check out post here
The film has broken several records and is the second biggest Bollywood movie at the Global box office, just after Pathan. It is also the highest grossing Hindi film in India of all time, which has fans requesting for re-release of the film in India. Several people commented on the video posted by Shahrukh Khan and expressed their desire for the second installment of Jawan. In March, Atlee had talked about the potential sequel of the film, he said this to ABP:
I am not sure about it. But I will write something, I will surprise. Every film had a chance of coming up with a sequel but I always surprise the audience with more, different content. So I will come up with something. Let’s see.
When asked about the possibility of working with SRK again the producer director said “Of course, there is no denial. We will work together. When, how, what, it’s all with Shahrukh Khan Sir. Meanwhile, Jawan stars other actors like Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, the Atlee directorial also featured Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya and Ridhi Dogra playing important roles. The film revolves around appraisal warden who teams up with the prison inmates to bring justice and and reveal corruption through his daring crimes.
