Stree 2 has officially beat Shahrukh Khan’s film Jawan by becoming the number one Hindi film of all time in India. This news was confirmed by maddock films, a production company associated with Stree 2. As per report, Stree 2 has surpassed the lifetime collection of Jawan in Hindi language only. Jawan had minted ₹582.31 crore nett in Hindi belt whereas Stree 2 has collected ₹586 crore at the Indian box office, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 is doing an extraordinary job at cinema halls even after around 1 month of its release. The highly anticipated film was released worldwide on 15 August 2024 and since then it has been getting lots of love from the viewers as well as Critics. Recently, the film left behind Ranbir Kapoor’s Film “Animal” as well.
Taran Adarsh, a well known Critic, recently shared on X the earnings of the film in the fifth week. He said that on Friday the earning was 3.60 crore on Saturday it was 5.5 crore on Sunday it went up to 6.85 crore on Monday it touched 3.73 crore and on Tuesday it minted 2.65 crore which takes the total to 586 crore. He also mentioned that soon the film will join the 600 crore club. Let us remind you that blockbuster films like Jawan, Pathan, Baahubali 2, kgf, dangal, KGF, RRR are in the list.
Viewers believe that the film will soon be the highest grossing Hindi film of all times which means that it would beat Bahubali 2’s hindi Gross. Let us tell you that no film has been able to surpass baahubali 2’s Hindi gross and has been untouched since 2017 which may be broken by Stree 2.
The Stree 2 team also posted about the new record that they have broken. The post said “Indian box office’s no. 1 Hindi film of all time!” written on it. The caption read, “Woh Stree hai aur usne aakhir kar dikhaya… Hindustan ki sab se sarvashresth (She is Stree and she has finally done it…India’s best film) No. 1 Hindi film of all time!!!” In the same post the team thanked all their fans for creating history with them. Stree 2 is still running in cinemas successfully… theatre aao, kuch aur naye records rachate hain (come to theatres, lets make some more new records)!” it also read.
