PM Modi to inaugurate projects worth Rs 6,330 crore in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi on October 20 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects worth over 6,330 crore. One of the major inaugurations will be the RJ Sankara Eye hospital at 2 PM tomorrow. The hospital has been built with an aim to provide comprehensive consultations and treatments for various eye problems. After that, around 4 PM he will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for several airport developments in Uttar Pradesh including expansion of Varanasi’s airport runway and construction of a new terminal building and along with remaining work of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport worth around Rs 2870 crore.

Other than that, PM Modi will be laying the foundation stone of New Civil Enclave at Agra Airport which will cost around Rs 570 crore along with two other airports that are Darbhanga airport worth around Rs 910 crore and at Bagdogra airport worth around Rs 1550 crore. Moreover, Rewa Airport, Maa Mahamaya Airport, Ambikapur and Sarsawa Airport’s new terminal buildings are ready to serve around 2.3 crore passengers annually together, which will be inaugurated by PM Modi.
