Vande Bharat Express 2.0: 6 Trains With New Cutting-Edge Features Launched by PM Modi, Check Features and routes

Prime minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to virtually flag off 6 new Vande Bharat Express trains in India today. He flagged off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express train from Tatanagar Junction Railway Station at around 10:30 am and the remaining trains were inaugurated via video conference. This set of trains is the upgraded version of the original Vande Bharat Express trains.

According to the ministry, the Vande Bharat Express 2.0 trains feature Cutting-Edge Features like fast acceleration, Charging socket, Kavach, anti-virus system, WiFi, a train collision avoidance system and more. This will not only enhance the passengers experience but also set new global standards for speed, safety, as well as service. The Vande Bharat Express trains that’ll be launched today are on the following routes.

The new trains that were launched by PM today are Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express, Brahmapur-Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express, Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Deoghar-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express, Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express. Also 4 other trains are being launched by the Indian Railway among which Hubli-Pune Vande Bharat Express and Nagpur-Secunderabad Vande Bharat express are the most anticipated ones.

The Hubli-Pune Vande Bharat Express comes out as a significant addition to the already existing 54 Vande Bharat trains running across the country. This train will further connect the two states Karnataka and Maharashtra and reduce travel time significantly improving the connectivity between both States and enhancing regional transportation efficiency. The existing trains have facilitated travelling of over 3.17 crore passengers all over the nation and the new trains will boost the numbers even more.

Prime minister Narendra Modi lays foundation stone and has dedicated to the nation several railway projects at tatanagar worth more than 600 crores. The Vande Bharat trains that have been indigenously designed under the make in India initiated will offer both luxury and comfort to the passengers while fostering connectivity across the nation. “As India’s rail network continues to expand, passengers can look forward to a future of seamless, comfortable, and efficient travel that caters to the diverse needs of the nation,” the ministry added.

In a special speech, PM Modi said that Vande Bharat is the new face of the Indian Railways that’s getting modern. He also highlighted how there is a demand for the train in every route. The PM also dedicated to the nation Kurkura-Kanaroan doubling  which is a part of Bondamunda-Ranchi single line section and part of Rourkela-Gomoh route via Ranchi, Muri and Chandrapura stations. This will further help in mobility of goods as well as passenger traffic significantly.
